Storm Damage

Unread post by Roger »

Bad news...

The roof has come off the safety boat garage (18.30 last night) and has damaged Frank's van.

However, a quick walk round last night by Norman + Gilly didn't reveal any boat damage. Brian - your mast has fallen off the 'trestles'. Don't know if anything has bent.

Doug and Tony will meet with Frank today to work out a course of action with the insurers - probably joining a long queue, and have a look at what we can do to the garage and contents short term.

Very sorry to hear about Christine, hope you will be on the mend soon. It's a good job you're still young.
All the best

Hi Roger, I've been down this morning and resurrected my mast. No damage. Hopefully it is now more secure but faced with near 100 mph winds, who knows? Shame about Chris, hope she gets well soon.Sounds nasty. Brian
