GLASSON DOCK
URGENT FOR SMALL CRAFT
The Port Authority has just been advised by a representative from the Canal & Rivers Trust that the LOCK gates between the port’s outer dock at Glasson and the freshwater canal basin/Glasson Basin Marina are inoperable until further notice.
Any vessels wanting to transit the outer dock to the Marina will not be able to get through into the Marina and should not approach Glasson unless they have contacted the Harbour Master (07910 315606) to see if there is room to accommodate them temporarily in the outer dock.
Any enquiries about the opening date for the lock gates themselves, should be directed to either the Canal & Rivers Trust or the Glasson Basin Marina.
