Unread post by davidb »

John Holt asked me to send this out:

"
At the weekend we heard the sad news that Heidi Denham suddenly died last week.

She was the wife of Justin, one of our active members and one of the official River Lune Pilots.

Please offer our condolences to Justin and family.

Heidi was the first person we met at GSC and she made us feel so welcome, a sad loss to GSC.

Heidi had a lovely send off today at Torresholme Crematorium with lots of GSC members supporting Justin together with colleagues and management from work and many friends. The reverend, who took the service with a natural humour, listed Heidi's many talents and achievements, obviously recognised and cherished by Justin and made some of us wish we had known her better.
