No racing on Monday?
This could be because of the docking/recovery problems? If so why not race the dinghies, who are mostly cruiser racers now, on Monday for the Club Dinghy Regatta Trophy?

I'm reliably informed that there's no dinghy racing on Bank Holiday Monday because no one has shown any interest.
The Rear Commodre Racing has canvassed for support and no one has responded.
If you would like to race your dinghy on Bank Holiday Monday please use this forum to add your name as someone who would like to race.
For Saturday and Sunday I would suggest that you race with the cruisers.

The latest is that the dinghies and dayboats can race with the cruisers round the lighthouse and dinghies and dayboats can race on Monday

The Regatta Course
The Start Line is the OD marks Glasson Club
All Navigation Bouys to be passed on the correct side.
Pass Abbey Light to Starboard
The Finish line is The OD marks (Please take note of your Time)
Saturday 28th August 2010 Start 1310 ( HW 1354)
Sunday 29th August 2010 Start 1340 ( HW 1422)
There will be a 5 min warning signal , A 4 min Warning signal and a 1 min warning signal. Please listen Ch 77 through out the race for possible shortning of course, Dock status Etc. There will be a race briefing on Sat morning 1 hour before the race.
On Saturday and Sunday the Criusers will start with the Dinghies .
For Dock access and opperations please contact Norman , Rice Pudding.
For race enquiries please contact Jack or John, My Cloud.
For race rules please look on the Glasson home page.
Cruisers will race using Club Number handicaps, available in the foyer.
Dinghies will race using PY handicaps.

Saturday - Thanks to Alison, who was OOD, Doug who did the patrol boat, Dave for the JCB and John for organising the racing. Many thanks also to Chris and Doug for the soup and all the other ladies who helped out.
