They were gone on my last visit 2 weeks ago and I'm not sure if they weren't gone on my previous visit at the end of July.
I brought half dozen pears home a fortnight ago but they still haven't ripened.
I spent most of my money on Booze, Women and Boats. The rest I wasted.

I had a pear yesterday which was firmish but sweet. A plum would have been nice.

Oh dear Chris, plum time was about 8 weeks ago. They were falling off the tree and breaking the branches. I put a sheet on the floor to catch them rather than getting squashed into the gravel! My own tree gave us loads in early August
Put a note in your diary for next year so you don't miss them again. Handy tip- get them before they are fully ripe and the wasps get in there. They will soon ripen up at home.

Seeing as we are using the TandT app and not the book I've doctored the book for Plum Bookings. Place your name on the list and you get to pick 1Kg of plums in order. Once you've picked yours, put a line through your name and the next person can then take 1kg.
Also as you pick, leave every third one for the wasps.
We have installed a cctv on the tree to make sure people comply, and I've put a note by the wasps nest stating if they take them all they will be exterminated.
