Where's Mick

Unread post by dr.syn »

I know some you texted me to see why I wasn't answering VHF or texts well I had a couple of hours shut-eye with Dave anchored weds night at lune 2, (not in same boat) then at 04:30 sneaked a way a nd sailed west for 13hrs on the Tiller and staring at the compass all the way, should have checked the tillerpilot on my shakedown. Arrived Douglas 17:00.
Can't get messages or phone out even though it says I can data roam free so I'm in Costa doing what I tell the grandkids not to do, using WiFi.
Quite a rolly trip with the wind up my a&£#
All the way, everything that wasn't on the floor is now, including the kettle that was in 1.5"high fiddles.
Probably come back Mon or Tues
Oh yeh, upset Douglas Harbour, went in without permission but they were quite OK about it in the end.
I spent most of my money on Booze, Women and Boats. The rest I wasted.

Well done Mick, we thought our tiller pilot had broken this afternoon as well it was a depressing thought. But it turned out the battery isolator switch had been kicked off.

The switch is getting a smaller handle in the morning.

do you know you can phone people on WhatsApp with Wi-Fi. Cheers David
