The computer graphics were fantastic even my non sailing brother thought it was exciting to watch better than F1 car racing.
Can we get that system for our dinghy racing ?

Hi would it be possible to get some concrete pipes to extent the outflow with luck the sand would cover them.A small gap would be required at the top end near the existing pipe outflow so air would escape as the tide filled the pipes.

You will have to leave it there Lorna it won't fit up the slip.

Hi Michael and fellow dinghy sailors,the dinghy program list a race for SAT 16 FEB HW 1452 8.5M Start 1345. The weather forecast does not look too bad SSE 8 to 12 mph cloud with sunny spells, but your guess is as good as mine. Anybody thinking of sailing? Sundays tide is HW 1540 but only 7.8M guess ...

Hi Val for me it goes to error page then after 20 secs switches to tide index page where you can select which port you want tidal info for. Hope this helps John.

Hi have you tried the free app called sail master? my phone is not smart enough but I am looking to buy a tablet to use as a chartplotter have any members gone down this route? if so please post any finds good or bad.

Hi Micheal I have an old 40cms color crt monitor with integral lead, its very heavy and large so I don't think anyone would run off with it. Its available if you want it .

Hi Mick I have the 9.5 hp Mercury sail-drive on my Leisure 23SL Northern Star, mine does not have electric start but as an output for charging 12 Vdc battery from a coil, if yours is the same I have test run mine in barrel without being connected to a battery just for a few minutes with no apparent ...
