Have just picked up my mainsail from the Goucher rep (Chris) in Lancaster after a repair to the head board and bolt rope. (There''s technical for you!)

It''s a super job. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

Think furthest west was incorrectly stated as Ardnamurchan point. Tobermory is close enough which is where Phoenix got to. I suspect a club boat did go further but no claim was made.

Dear All, Thanks to all who helped in making another very enjoyable week-end. We were blessed with outstanding weather this year allowing g a race round the lighthouse on Saturday and a trip to Snatchems on Sunday. Hopefully people got plenty of photos to share. The band, 'Rip Roaring Success' lived...

Ocean Phoenix's recovery crew leaving Whitehave today bound for Piel.

They did the 60nm from Port Patrick yesterday averaging 8 knots.

Did Troon to Girvan yesterday. Worth a visit .... has good facilities for a limited number of visiting boats.
Left the boat in Girvan and travelled back to Lancaster by train. The recovery team will pick Ocean Phoenix up on Monday....

Snatchems on Saturday for the Viking / Pirate raid then Piel for Sunday, back Monday.
