I put beaching legs on my Dehler 25. When moored up in Ravenglas and the tide came in they skewed back. Not recommended.

George, If you wish, I will make you a Pick Up Strop from Kevlar rope, I have used this rope for many years on my mooring at Piel also on the Club moorings ,no problems.

Hi All, Portland Bill, suggest take inshore route, Anne and I did so 25 years ago in Rice Pudding 4, en route to Weymouth,we tied up against the harbour wall on the port side, handy for the Pubs !!

Hi All, When at Piel last time, launched the dinghy, started the Honda 2.3 and set off to the jetty, the outboard cut out and would not start, thought I had flooded the carb,so rowed over to the jetty, low water.
